Darla has spent the majority of her life being creative. She began her love for video production when she was just a tween, producing and shooting skits with family and friends for fun. In today’s modern world, she’d be a YouTube star with a cult following! She turned her passion into a career and has written, produced and directed thousands of TV campaigns, consumer videos and documentaries. She excels in creating ideas that give her clients that competitive edge while also giving the viewer something entertaining to watch. She joined the Bespoke Team in 2014 as Production Manager where she oversees the planning and scheduling of each project. Her ability to work fast and efficiently has been recognized by her peers and colleagues and is truly what sets her apart… that, and her feisty, redheaded spirit!

A Little Q&A with Darla Yarbrough

How did you get to Bespoke Media Group?

I met Rick Rogala while working at another production company. I thought he wanted to talk business but turns out he was there to spy. Nonetheless, I guess I made a good impression because when I approached him about a job a few years later, he told me he had been looking for a “Darla”. I quickly reminded him that there was only ONE Darla... and the rest is history.

What's the best thing you've seen on the internet?

I am a YouTube and Facebook junkie so I love anything that goes viral! Like, “They say Jennifer is a party pooper, but why does Jennifer poop at parties?” And we can’t forget about “hide yo kids, hide yo wife!” (Yes, I even downloaded the song:) Then, of course, if something is weird or crazy, I just shoot back “Ain’t nobody got time for that!” I am easily entertained.

What's a little known fact about you?

I am the oldest of four other sisters and we all have different baby mama’s and daddy’s! The “Original" Modern Family.

What movie or tv show do you most regret watching?

“Gerry” starring Matt Damon and Casey Affleck. Sounds interesting, right? Two award-winning actors who have starred in some really great movies. HELLO! “ "Good Will Hunting” “Ocean’s Eleven, Twelve and Thirteen"! Not to mention they’re not bad to look at. Well, put them in a desert where they walk around aimlessly for two hours without any dialogue and then we’ll talk! Most boring movie ever! But they were still good eye candy.

What has been your most embarrassing job?

I was a Carnie. That’s all I’m going to say about that.

What do you most love about what you currently do?

I love the people! The clients are awesome to work with and they challenge me everyday, which I love. But my co-workers are what make it the most enjoyable. We have a lot of different personalities that somehow blend very well together… it always makes for a great day. (My boss made me say that.)

What device, gadget, or kitchen appliance could you absolutely not live without?

Wine opener. Duh!

If you could only write with one color for the rest of your days, what would it be?

Razorback Red! Woo Pig!
